This is a story that ACTUALLY happened at a preschool where I was teaching. (The story did not unfold quite as it does in the song, but I thought it was a funny enough incident to be songworthy!)
lyrics
Let me tell you the tale of two naughty goats,
They have short pointy horns and long woolly coats,
And they lived at a preschool down a quiet country road,
That’s Ammo and Raisin, the two naughty goats!
Now one dark day the weather turned real bad,
Ammo and Raisin were looking rather sad,
The rain was pouring down and the wind was blowing round,
There were deep muddy puddles a-lying on the ground.
Ammo and Raisin, the two naughty goats,
They have short pointy horns and long woolly coats,
It was raining very hard down that quiet country road,
That’s Ammo and Raisin, the two naughty goats!
It was getting really dark, the goats were so forlorn –
The teachers put them in the playground to shelter from the storm,
The skipped in through the gate so merrily,
They were looking all around at everything to see.
Next they jumped into the sandpit and they ate up all the flowers,
Then they played on the slide for hours upon hours,
They were swinging on the swings and they chewed up all the rope,
That’s Ammo and Raisin, those two naughty goats!
Ammo and Raisin those two naughty goats,
They messed up all the playground – it really was no a joke!
The children all laughed and the teachers nearly cried,
That's Ammo and Raisin, the two naughty goats.
When the storm went away the teachers got a fright,
Those naughty preschool goats had wrecked everything in sight!
The slide was lying on its side and the swings were in the tree,
And the two naughty goats were smiling happily!
Ammo and Raisin, the two naughty goats,
They have short pointy horns and long woolly coats,
Now they’re always in their paddock down that quiet country road,
That’s Ammo and Raisin, the two naughty goats.

I love music - I love kids! Little Minstrels all began with a few classes at a preschool in 2005. Since then it has grown
into my part-time job and full-time passion, developing my own teaching programme and writing and recording songs to suit. These songs have stood the test of time and have been loved by the preschoolers I teach. I hope your chidren enjoy them too!...more
