This is a well known American folk song.
In this version, each verse can be played by children on unpitched percussion instruments.

The instruments used on the track are as follows:
Cat (fiddle-dee-dee) drums
Hen (Chimmy-chuck) maracas
Mouse (creep) guiros
Horse (ClipClop) woodblocks
Cow (clunk) cowbell

The song is cumulative, so be ready for the repeats!

This can also be played on body percussion in preparation for instruments as follows:
Cat (fiddle-dee-dee) rhythm on thighs
Hen (Chimmy-chuck) flap your wings
Mouse (creep) rub you forefingers together slowly
